Commercials - Page 3 |
This
is an archive of some of the greatest commercials that
I've been able to capture, in order by capture. I do
not endorse any of these products, nor do I have any
affiliation with any of the companies being advertised,
so don't sue me. Click the image to view it in its
H.264 glory (the easiest way to play H.264 files are
with Quicktime
7, unless you know of an easier way for you) or
you can download them in DivX or WMV9 if available. |

Volkswagen
Ahh, Peter Stormare, a man of many ethnicities; he's been Russian, German, Swedish, everything. In this commercial from Volkswagen, one of three, I believe... I was only able to capture two of them, we have a kid who Japanesed his Ford Focus nick named "The Flame"... well, Stormare gives the kid a lesson in automobiles.

Pepsi
I missed this commercial at the real Super Bowl, but I randomly recorded
it one day - and here it is. Pepsi has been known for their Coke bashing
commercials (and vice versa), and this one is done rather well, co-starring Jackie Chan. Hope you guys enjoy it. I ripped it from KTLA 5 during commercials
for some show.

Budweiser
The Super Bowl has always been known for its Beer commercials, and this one
is great for a football game, a football field, fans, beer - it all adds
up, doesn't it? Who is that guy in the opening frames of the commercial though?
Is that the dude from that Dr. Pepper commercial? It looks like it. Remember,
I do not sanction the consumption of liquor in any way at all. I ripped
it from Super Bowl XL.

Degree
Okay, so not the best commercial - but I love the directing.
It follows a dude living in "Stunt City" as
he goes through his day, with his trusty deodorant, Degree.
I ripped it from Super
Bowl XL.

Sprint
I was originally going to categorize this under Nextel,
for my love of that name - but since Sprint did buy them (and didn't combine
their names to "Sextel" or something - haha - I got that from my
cousin) I'll have to call this one a Sprint Commercial. This is a really
funny commercial with a classic tune - it's hilarious. I ripped
it from Super Bowl XL.

Toyota
Man, Toyota is really pushing this Tacoma being freaking campaign, it makes
me almost want to buy one, we might buy a Tundra though (not the next new
ugly one though). This one is done rather well, along with their home made
movie feel - enjoy it. I ripped
it from Super Bowl XL.

Apple and Intel
This is a very good commercial, yet I haven't seen it on
TV yet. It introduces to the consumer that Intel has now
joined up with Apple, and Apple will not have those awesome
dual core chips all you kids are dying to having (but if
you died, you wouldn't have one, so... I don't get it).
It somewhat offended me when I first read about it, and
first read it, I did one of those audible groans where
someone punches you in the stomache, anyways, watch it!
I downloaded it from Apple's site.

Dr.
Pepper
I remember the first time I saw this commercial, I
thought, "That's genius" and laughed. I really
enjoyed watching this commercial. If any of you are
familiar with this one, you will notice it is the longer
version, and offer a few more sequences of this man's
loyalty to his girl. But in the end, the pepper wins.
I ripped it from TBS'
Funniest Commercials of 2005.

Carlton
Draught Beer from Australia
I do not sanction the consumption of liquor in any way
at all, but their commercials are always the best. This
one, from Australia, proves just that. I think I first
saw this during Super Bowl 39, but then again, I don't
think Australians advertise during American football
games; this is a great commercial nonetheless. There
really is nothing in the commercial, except a great aerial
view of the production of a human body drinking. I ripped
it from TBS'
Funniest Commercials of 2005.

Lynx from
the UK
In America, we call it Axe,
in the UK it's Lynx.
They have always been known for their edgy commercials
that have a lot of sex appeal to sell their products.
This commercial is probably one of their best, considering
coming from the UK where most of their commercials I
don't like. It has a small story line and plot, and you
get attached to the two characters in the commercial.
It follows this boy and girl waking up and gathering
their clothes, retracing their steps the night before
in order to locate them all. It is a very amazing commercial.
I ripped it from TBS'
Funniest Commercials of 2005.
