June 2008 - v.3.5.7
I change the line height from the 10px font throughout the site from 13px to 14px.

May 2008 - v.3.5.6
I change the way streaming videos behave on the site, adding a preview image and a play button, I also make it look more minimalist. I also change the way this page shows differences between versions.
April 2008 - v.3.5.5
I change the background color of the comment fields when hovered over and focused on.
March 2008 - v.3.5.4
I change some general coding in the Photography section.
February 2008 - v.3.5.3
v.3.5.1 - I change the spacing between the month descriptions on this Web Log page. I change the line height of the 10px font throughout the site, from 12px to 13px.
v.3.5.2 - I add daily Laker games and scores to the Index pages, found here.
v.3.5.3 - I also change the organization of the Other Videos section.
January 2008 - v.3.5
The major change this month is a change for the new year as I add a new JavaScript comment system from HaloScan, ridding the old CGI comment system of two years and ending the inability to comment on the site for almost eight months. The comments open up in a pop-up window and the system allows uploading images, showing smileys, listing a homepage, notifying the commenter if someone replies to a comment, and remembering commenter information. The system works well but is planned to be temporary until I code one myself. I also change the way links work in the Other Videos section.

December 2007 - v.3.4.5
I change the way links and pages work when individual site photographs are linked from posts.

November 2007 - v.3.4.4
I made zero changes to the site during this month - change is good? I don't think so!
October 2007 - v.3.4.4
I fix the round edges around the layout and bring back the original favicon planned for June 2007. Also, the load time of the initial download of the page is brought down by almost 150KB through the header by changing file from PNG-24 to PNG-8.
September 2007 - v.3.4.3
v.3.4.2 - I add to the video section, finally giving Other Videos its own page organized by year.
v.3.4.3 - I also allow navigation between web log months without having to access this page; at the bottom there is navigation to go back or forward by month on every month on this site. I also correct Standard Time to Daylight Sayings Time abbreviations for each post during Daylight Savings Time.
August 2007 - v.3.4.1
I change the way some image borders work in the site, for the web logs.
July 2007 - v.3.4
For this month, I decide to change the menu on top, the Saints logo, add three new pages, and change the distance between posts from 10px to 15px vertically, back to the way it was in January of 2007, as well as make a 10px margin on the right to correspond with the right. The top menu now has two new items, Contact and Retired (pages), and all menu items have a reflection. The Saints logo too has a reflection. I change each post's graphic to have a link, if nowhere specific then to its Permalink. Also, in the Videos section, I change the way heading links are handled, they stay in the color #E1E1E1 when hovered over. And I change all section-heading's margins. I took a trip to the Bay Area, at the end of the month and while I was away, visitors were greeted with this Index.
June 2007 - v.3.3.2
Super insane month. The site is down for almost two weeks while I try to upgrade all the software on the server after Fedora 7 released, and as I add a new Seagate 400GB hard drive. While the site is down, visitors are greeted with this page no matter where on the server they hit. The only thing new visually so far is the top, the font changes from Tahoma to Eras Medium ITC. Comments still do not work, temporarily. I also change the margin around the log image on the right from 10px to 13px to be more symmetrical. For most of the month, the users are greeted with this index page to celebrate the Yearbook. In the Photography section, I shift all third column photographs to the left by 1px for better symmetry in Firefox.
May 2007 - v.3.2.2
v.3.2.1 - Not many people understood how to get home from anywhere on the site, so I change the top dot between "modenadude" and "com" and dumb it down for a few, adding "home" with an arrow pointing to the dot.
v.3.2.2 - The top of the Index changes when I add a menu on top for easier access into the site. The Index Image also changes near the end of the month to celebrate Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. View the Index here. The site prepares for its temporary shutdown for June and comments do not work all month.
April 2007 - v.3.2
This month's changes are very minor - the only adjustments are made to the Photography section. Originally, a portrait photograph's background was the same as the landscape, but I differentiate the two.
March 2007 - v.3.1
The changes this month are to the "web log" section on top, its logo changes from the Blogspot logo from Google to a personal mimic of it. Also, the new photography section creates the next subversion, 3.1.
February 2007 - v.3.0.6
I decide not to change the layout every month as it became more forced than fun and decided to keep the basics of the site but just add on imperfections. I did away with the "Websites" section and added this "Web Log" link as well as made it easier to decipher between posts. I also add a new TV Show, Kenan and Kel. This month also wins for the least amount of posts, as of this date, ever, due to a computer problem.
January 2007 - v.3
A new year and a completely new revamped design. I stay with the feel of December 2006 with the purple color, but that's about it. Totally new navigation, totally new border, totally new header and sections. I re-write the site to play with JavaScript and CSS better as well as make it faster and more user friendly. I give the text more room "to breathe", and basically give it a more minimalist clean look, while still making it look much more modern than v.2 was. Alpha Dog with Anton comes out and the Saints lose in the Playoffs.

December 2006 - v.2.9.16
Eyes Wide Shut, Kubrick's last film and 2006's last month - Kubrick died a few months before its release. I keep the layout very simple but play with the color purple - the title even has a kind of glossy look to it - I keep the backdrop eerie. December 2006 becomes the shortest month as I leave to Kansas and don't update, I leave my visitors with this message.

November 2006 - v.2.9.15
Full Metal Jacket is Kubrick's twelfth film and is November's theme. I have fun again with hidden images and the title. Borat comes out, I buy the Zune, I put up some USC games and Adam writes an article about Ms. Rogers' stupidity in the school newspaper. Perfect war movie month.
October 2006 - v.2.9.14
The Shining is October's film, a perfect film for Halloween's month. I had fun with the title as well as the hidden images. South Park comes back for season 10 and a half and Imadul gets his own section, ThaDogg where he showcases photos that he takes, mostly at school.
September 2006 - v.2.9.13
Barry Lyndon is September's film - a very awesome layout in my opinion. I used an image from a book I received from Sonia as the backdrop and put in some characters (and Kubrick) as well. We become Seniors in high school and modenadude.com hits its first birthday.
August 2006 - v.2.8.12
A Clockwork Orange is Kubrick's ninth film - I decide to stick with the new black background and decide to manually create the title mimicking Clockwork's title. It was a very fun layout to design. I add all new Commercials, X Games 12 action, and Emmys clips. I leave to Seattle for a week and don't update, I leave my visitors with this message.
July 2006 - v.2.8.11
2001: A Space Odyssey, I think I may love this Kubrick design the best out of all of them so far. It uses HAL 9000 as a planet and shows a glare as well as some stars. Kubrick's birthday takes place and I write something up in honor of him. I revamp the video section and also add a new video section called "Stand-Up" where I post comedian videos. I also added a new TV Show, 30 Days.
June 2006 - v.2.8.10
Dr. Strangelove's layout called for pandemonium, and I hope I delivered. I mimicked the lengthy title in my title as well as added key words numbers from the film. This month, I also add a new section, "Education". We also get our new Samsung HL-R6168W HDTV for Mother's Day. 6-6-06 passes and nothing happens, and I sign up with Speakeasy DSL to become twice as fast as I was with DSL Extreme. I also start adding keywords under the post's graphics.
May 2006 - v.2.6.9
Lolita's layout called for a change, no more of these character graphics in the header, it's time for more and in collage form. For Kubrick's sixth, one of the coolest designs to pay homage to Stanley is made and showcases the wonderful film and the beautiful Sue Lyon. The new Tool album comes out and the Lakers lose in the first round of the Playoffs.
April 2006 - v.2.6.8
Spartacus, another Kubrick/Douglas project is showcased in April's design. I have some fun with the "I am Spartacus" line by adding the "I am" in front of the title - as always, the font fits the film. This month holds the shortest amount of posts, as of this date, ever due to the shooting of D-Hall. But I add a new TV Show, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
March 2006 - v.2.6.7
Paths of Glory is March's film, Kubrick's fourth for those keeping count. It stars Kirk Douglas - it's quite strange that the month that I pay homage to his film is the month I meet him in person. It's a(n anti) war movie so a gun is needed. The Lion is also back. This month, I also buy a new Sigma lens.
February 2006 - v.2.6.6
The Killing is February's film, Kubrick's third. The film is a Film-Noir film based around a burglary, so I was sure to throw in some characters with guns in the design - the MGM lion is also there as well as an extra "The" to mimic the film's title. I also get a new cell phone for my birthday this month.
January 2006 - v.2.6.5
I decide to try something new for 2006, I decide to take the twelve months of the year and showcase every Kubrick film ever made, in order. January has his first two official films, Fear and Desire and Killer's Kiss - nothing really to base a design by, which is why it's a very boring layout. Later in the month I add a comments section to comment on each post.

December 2005 - v.2.5.4
December 1999 was the premiere of Magnolia, the film by Paul Thomas Anderson. I decided to dedicate December 2005 solely to the film, with a nice design on the top, with the magnolia flower in the background of the header. Also, there is modenadude writing, as you would find it in the dictionary, which is parallel to the film's introduction.
November 2005 - v.2.5.3
XBOX 360 month, as well as Eid. The header for this month was not taken from a font site, but created from an XBOX 360 logo, using specific parts of the X, B, O, and X and creating the new, never before seen design.
October 2005 - v.2.5.2
Design incorporates the month of the pumpkin, using the same header as September 2005, but adding a Flash pumpkin, with glowing eyes. This month featured two designs, originally without the pumpkin's flickering eyes; then the secondary design is with the flickering eyes.
September 2005 - v.2.5.1
The opening month of the site! It features the original design with a hacker type header, and somewhat describes the opening stages of the site.
